stemming from false claims about patent ownership in investor offering materials. The defendants,
Soil Servers, Inc., and its CEO, Larry Johnson, were ordered to pay the investors’ fees and costs
associated with the case.
Riney Palter Obtains Verdict in Teacher Abuse Case
Theodore J. Riney and Kimberly M. J. Sims recently secured a verdict in Dallas County District Court in favor of Mary Oliver,
the Dallas Independent School District teacher who was severely beaten in her classroom by another teacher.
The jury in the case awarded Ms. Oliver actual and punitive damages as the result of the assault.
