Theodore J. Riney and John T. Palter were named Super Lawyers for 2006 by Texas Monthly Magazine/Law and Politics.  Selected by their peers, Texas Super Lawyers represent only the top five percent of lawyers in the state.  Both Mr. Riney and Mr. Palter have been previously recognized as Super Lawyers in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.

Theodore J. Riney and Kimberly M. J. Sims recently secured a verdict in Dallas County District Court in favor of Mary Oliver, the Dallas Independent School District teacher who was severely beaten in her classroom by another teacher.  The jury in the case awarded Ms. Oliver a total of $687,000.00 in actual and punitive damages as the result of the assault.
