Theodore J. Riney
Theodore J. Riney practices in the areas of business, commercial and construction litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution. He has significant experience representing individuals, partnerships, corporations and other business interests in litigation disputes involving contracts, real estate development and lease matters, construction, financial institutions, fiduciary relations, partner/shareholders relations, sales, warranty and deceptive trade practices, intellectual property, manufacturing, telecommunications, trade secrets, employer/employee relations, and other business litigation matters, both routine and complex.
Mr. Riney was named a "Texas Super Lawyer" in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 by Texas Monthly Magazine/Law and Politics Magazine. He is a member of the Dallas and American Bar Associations, is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a Fellow of the Dallas Bar Foundation and is licensed to practice before all Texas Federal Courts, the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Fifth and Federal Circuits, the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Riney is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Mr. Riney earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1982 and his law degree, with distinction, from the same university in 1985. While at the University of Oklahoma, he was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Delta Phi.
